BOYESEN One-Year Automatic Limited Warranty
All Boyesen, Inc. products carry an automatic limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials from the date of purchase.
BOYESEN Extended Performance Lifetime Warranty Program
(Rad Valve and Rage Cage Intake Systems Only)

BOYESEN AUTOMATIC LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANY

One Year Limited Use Warranty

All Boyesen products carry an automatic limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is automatically provided to the original purchaser of the Boyesen product and is automatically activated at time of purchase. Boyesen's One-Year limited use warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Original proof of purchase is required.

The Boyesen One-Year Limited Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the warranty. Boyesen reserves the right to repair, replace or issue a Boyesen credit for defective product at its discretion. Product accepted as a warranty claim and repaired or replaced will be returned via UPS-ground freight no charge.

Buyer assumes all risk for any and all damage caused to themselves, a third party and/or property by virtue of failure of these products. By installing and/or using a Boyesen product, you hereby accept and understand these stated terms and conditions and have followed all instructional steps.

LIMITATIONS OF BOYESEN'S ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

Boyesen is the sole determiner of product warranty product abuse, misuse, installation errors and modifications. This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, abuse of the product, non-compliance with Boyesen specifications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design. All other remedies are excluded, including any obligation or liability on the part of Boyesen Incorporated for consequential or incidental damages (Such as a loss of use of vehicle, loss of time or inconvenience) arising out of any anomalies.

THE BOYESEN ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Crash Damage or Installation Impact damage
  • Improper assembly
  • Improper follow-up maintenance
  • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover
  • Products which have been modified from their original state upon purchase
  • Boyesen Incorporated is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Warranty Support of discontinued and closeout items.

LIMITED WARRANTY NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR

This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use, failure to service according to Boyesen recommendations and/or riding or installation in conditions or applications other than recommended. Boyesen is the sole determiner of product warranty wear and tear product appraisals.

Reed Products:
Boyesen Superstock Reeds, Power Reeds, Carbon Tech Reeds, Carbon Tech Rotary Valves, PRO-Series Reeds, Rage Cage Replacement Reeds, Rage Cage Intake Boots, RAD Valve Replacement Reeds, RAD Valve Intake Boots, Boyesen Custom Reeds.

Fitment Parts:

All gaskets, clamps, and bolts provided as part of Boyesen kitted products.

Performance Controls:
Shockout Dampeners, Shockout Grips, Flexgrip tubing, Flexgrip grips.

Factory Racing Hard Parts:
Factory Racing Clutch and Ignition Covers, Supercoolers, Spectra Series Supercoolers.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR LIMITED WARRANTY CLAIM

A Warranty Authorization number (WA#) must be issued by a Boyesen Product Support Specialist BEFORE your product is returned. Returns must be sent back to Boyesen freight prepaid. Proof of purchase, such as a copy of the original invoice, must accompany all limited warranty claims.

Please have the following information handy:
Details about the nature of your warranty claim, year/make/model of machine, date of purchase, place of purchase, and all Boyesen part numbers (found on product pieces and packaging/invoices).

ESTIMATED WARRANTY DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Boyesen customers will be responsible for all shipping costs on all non-warrantied product returns. After your warranty claim is accepted and verified by a Boyesen customer support specialist, the customer will be responsible for product shipment to Boyesen.

UPS Ground:
Shipment for domestic service has arrival time between 1-6 business days from time of pickup at Boyesen.

USPS Express Mail:
Shipment for international service has arrival time between 5-7 business days from time of pickup at Boyesen.

Priority Mail/Express Mail:
Shipment for domestic service has arrival times between 1-5 business days from time of pickup from Boyesen.

PRODUCT ONE-YEAR WARRANTY CRITERIA

  • All warranty claims must include a warranty authorization number (WA#).
  • All (WA#) numbers must be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping container.
  • All sales are final on discontinued and closeout items.
